Internal auditor training course for ISO 9001:2015 transition

2015/12/20

The International Standard (IS) of ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) was revised for the first time in seven years and was published on September 15, 2015.
The Standards of ISO are reviewed regularly, generally every 5 years, in order to cope with the innovations of technology that evolves every day and to meet the needs of the times.
On December 10, we invited a lecturer from Technofer Ltd. and all members of OSATO group took this seminar to comply with this revision at yma hall in ORI.

After the explanations about the purpose of the revision and the main changes in ISO9001:2015, we made small groups to practice auditing and Management Reviews.
"Preventive Action" which had been an independent requirement was removed from the revised standard and the word "Risk" was newly introduced.
However, the idea of "Preventive Action" isn't lost. A Management System itself includes the idea of "Risk Analysis Approaches" as a base of its structure and operation, so the idea of prevention is rather considered extensively.
It could be said that "Risk" was not considered enough in the previous standard due to the narrow vision.

By attending this course, we were able to practice thinking by ourselves with an awareness of the points of the new Standard to have deeper comprehension.
It was a great opportunity to improve our Management System, and to enhance quality control and raise our customer satisfaction with more effective operation.
