Mountain Mayhem 2011 took place from 18th to the 19th June in Eastnor Castle's Deer Park in UK. It is a stunning location for the 24-hour Mountain Bike Race with 3km-long rap course on a green hill pasture.
Aston Martin participates in many 24-hour endurance races to demonstrate the performance of their GT cars to the world. For example, Aston Martin Racing challenges 24 Hours of Le Mans and Aston Martin Factory Team participates in 24 hours Nürburgring.
This time, the members of Gaydon headquarters made a team to challenge this mountain bike endurance race and completed the 24 hours perfectly.
They demonstrated the durability not only with their cars but also with their people!
It is our honor that Immun' Âge is loved by Aston Martin teams in this Mountain Bike Race as well as in Le Mans and Nürburgring.

While we were waiting with camera in the dark・・・・one small light after another appeared・・・

We could find about 20 to 30 soft lights of fireflies in total.
Our project seems to be working well. We would like to continue to create environment where more fireflies can live.

Dr. Mnatello, the director of the Osato Research Institute, took part in Aston Martin GT4 Challenge 2011 as a driver again.
Although his team reached the maximum age over 110 years (total of two drivers' ages), they showed great performance and raised up to the 1st place during the race held in Silverstone on May 1st.
However, the fuel pump unfortunately had problems in the end. He is expected to do well in the next race.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the victims of the Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake on March 11.

Aston Martin Racing has released the AMR-one, a new LMP1 race car for 2011 series.
In 2011, Aston Martin will go for the overall championship with this　AMR-One car with the new ACO regulations, which makes a petrol-powered car able to compete against diesel cars.
We can't wait to see the evolution of Aston Martin Racing.

Comment of Darren Turner participating in international Le Mans cup as a driver of AMR-One in 2011:
"It's exciting that Aston Martin Racing has been able to design a car from the ground up to fit the new regulations."
"During the last few years it has been frustrating that if you didn't have a diesel you couldn't challenge for victory in the main event of the year. I have my fingers crossed that this season the petrol-powered cars will be able to compete on a level playing field, which will not only make it more exciting for the drivers but also for the thousands of spectators that go to Le Mans every year."

Darren is keen to get his hands on the new car after keeping a close eye on its progress throughout the winter, as he lives close to the Aston Martin Racing headquarters.

"It has been incredible to see the car go from a series of CAD drawings to the finished AMR-One," he said.
"As a driver this is something you are rarely privy to so it is very special. It's amazing how many hours the guys have put in to make this happen and the finished car looks even more fantastic that I could have hoped for."

AThe AMR-One will make its race debut at Paul Ricard on 3 April. It will join the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup at the Spa 1000kms in May, just a few weeks before the team heads to Le Mans for the main event in June. Imola follows in July, then Silverstone in September, Petit Le Mans in October and the season finale is scheduled for 12 November, in China.

From February 23 to 24, 2011, we joined the magazine ACT4 team's visit to the Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel to cover this area as an excellent ski resort. As soon as we arrived to the hotel, we finished a very quick meeting and rushed into the beautiful ski slope.
The view of the sunset from the top of the mountain was so gorgeous and beyond description that we all forgot about the cold.
The ski patrolmen were so friendly and they spoke affectionately about their ski slopes.
When we came down to the bottom of the ski slope, the pisten billies were about to start glooming. All the 7 pieten bullies with Immun' Âge logo lined up in a row and started preparing the slopes.
We were blessed with good weather and the cameraman did such a wonderful job. However, after the Act 4 magazine editor and the cameraman left, the weather was changing a lot with sudden snow storm or more than 20 cm fall of snow during one night .
Under such harsh environmental condition, we could get a brief glimpse of the hard work of people working there every day for the safety of their guests.
We were glad to see that Immun' Âge were helping them to keep their health condition.
Mt. Yakebi Shigakogen Ski Resort will be open until May.
You can enjoy skiing there even if it is the first time for your to ski, since they have a really good ski school. (I would guarantee it as a ski beginner who actually received their lesson!)

This year marks 100th anniversary of ski in Japan. We learned about the history of ski in Japan with Mr. Susumu Sugiyama, principal of Sugiyama ski school in Okushiga.	JIGOKUDANI (Hell's Valley) Monkey Park is famous overseas as "Monkey Spa". 80% of the visitors are foreigners. They are the most international Japanese snow monkeys.
